Members and friends of the Barbados Jewish Community are invited to join us as we remember and honor the Jews of Trebic, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), who perished in the Holocaust.
The BJC is privileged to have possession of one of the original Torah scrolls from the town of Trebic, saved from the Nazis after World War II and restored at the Westminster Synagogue in Knightsbridge, London, UK. We will be reading from this scroll during this Sabbath service.
