Hannukah comes early this year, beginning on the evening of Sunday, November 28 and ending at sundown on Monday, December 6.
COVID conditions permitting, we hope to celebrate Hannukah with an in-person gathering at the historic Nidhe Israel synagogue in downtown Bridgetown on Sunday December 5 at 5:30pm. There will be a brief service, the candle lighting ceremony, and then latkes and sufganiyot (doughnuts!). Please join us if you can!
IMPORTANT NOTE: COVID protocols in Barbados currently limit the number of participants in religious services, so if you wish to join us you must RSVP to bjc@jewishbarbados.org no later December 1. If you arrive at the synagogue without an advance reservation you may (regrettably) be turned away.
