President’s Message – November 20

Shabbat Shalom!

The word of the week:

I am going to date myself here, but I was thinking about what to write to you about today and this song by Bob Dylan kept playing in my head, “The Times TheyAre A- Changin”. Whatever your beliefs are on what is happening around the world, there is one clear message to me, and that is healing is needed at all levels including physical healing, emotional healing and political healing. When did love take the backseat to judgment? Let’s put G-d back in the driver’s seat. Let’s commit to understanding. Let’s pray for peace within. Let’s Be The Change We Wish To See In The World. Have a Peaceful week!

Tomorrow is our first Friday night service back in Bridgetown at Nidhe Israel Synagogue. Please note that all COVID protocols will be observed so please bring your facemasks.  We will continue our ZOOM services for those people unable to attend in person. If you would like to host an Oneg Shabbat for one of the upcoming in person services  please contact areloran@gmail.com.

YAHRZEIT DATES FOR NOVEMBER:
