Word of the week:
During our service a few weeks ago, I had told you about a lady named Mrs. Rosalie Simon who speaks to communities about her experience during the Holocaust. I spoke with her today and she would be willing to tell us her story on Monday April 26th at 7:00pm via ZOOM. Please make every effort to attend this special community ZOOM event. It is important to keep these memories alive. She has a book called “Girl in the Striped Dress” where you can read her bio.

EARTH DAY
Today I attended part of a ZOOM Earth Day Celebration presented by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign affairs. Some of the areas that were focused on included solar technologies and a specially developed glass for solar panels; home-bio energy for small – and large-scale projects; technologies for reforestation and fighting desertification; solutions for food security such as 3D-printing of meat and the development of alternative proteins; adaptive and mitigating water solutions for home consumption as well as agriculture; digital health solutions; and much more. The main message was clear: To reduce and to innovate and create sustainable ways to protect the future of our planet.
