Presidents Message – August 28, 2020

Shabbat Shalom,

I love the Jewish New Year! Usually it is a time to reconnect with friends, gather together as a family and eat lots of delicious food while also feeding our soul. Hal and Michelle and their family join us each year to conduct services for us. We celebrate with hugs, beach time and dinners at our favorite restaurants.  This year, as in all things, the holidays will be quite different. There may not be big gatherings, but we still have the opportunity to celebrate together with the Blumenfelds during Zoom services.  Although our spiritual strength is being tested, we have the opportunity to find new ways of connecting.  Let’s make 5781 a year of positive change and a time to live life with new eyes and hearts.

Please let us know if you will be joining us for the Holiday services via Zoom as we will be purchasing a license for the Mazhor for each attendee. Once we receive notice that you will be attending, we will email you the link .
