Tomorrow evening is New Year’s Eve or, as Bajan’s would call it “Old Year’s Night.” I, for one, am ready to say goodbye to 2021. They say that you need to empty your cup in order to refill it. Let’s refill our cups with peace, good health and a promise to help make the world a better place. As my 3-year-old granddaughter Sadie would say “What are my options?” You might work on reducing climate change, feeding the hungry, food sustainability, healthcare services, or a host of other options. The idea is simply to commit. So, as we fill our glasses with champagne to celebrate 2022 remember to fill it with positive thoughts and actions for a brilliant 2022.
SERVICES NOW IN-PERSON AND ON-LINE
We are returning to in person services for the month of January at Nidhe Israel Synagogue. Services will begin this Friday at 6:30pm. If you would like to attend a service, please contact Neal Rechtman at BJC@jewishbarbados.org. As you know all COVID protocols on attendance remain in effect and there will be a limit to the number of people being able to attend each week.
For those who have been joining us on Zoom, please continue to do so: services will be streamed live from the Nidhe Israel synagogue beginning at 6:30pm local time (5:30pm EDT).
