President’s Message – July 31, 2020

Shabbat Shalom!

With each day we hear of the challenges facing people all over the world.  Politics, COVID-19, second waves, economic challenges, Black Lives Matter.  You might ask, “How do we stay positive, and more importantly, what is our role in the midst of all this sadness, sickness, social disparity and confusion? I ask myself constantly what is my purpose? What can I do to make a difference?

Many years ago, Scott and I attended some overseas workshops with a brilliant couple that developed a process called Psychology of Vision. They told us that no matter what obstacle you are facing, there is always someone out there who needs your help. Reach out to a friend, colleague, family member and show them that you care. So today I ask you, “ What can I do to help?” “ How can our community members help one another?

Yesterday was Tisha B’Av. (The link below gives you a little information about this day.)
