June 08 is World Oceans Day. Most of us are aware of the challenges we face with oil spills, plastic waste and pollution. In the attached CJC manifesto, “In Pursuit of Climate Justice, The idea of Tikkun Olam – the imperative to repair the world – requires acts of kindness, care and sacrifice however large or small.” There are some great documentaries on how you can be a part of the change. The one that I most recently watched was Seaspiracy. https://www.seaspiracy.org. Now is the time for change so carry your own reusable bags, Reduce, Re-use and Recycle.
