Shabbat Shalom!
The word for the week:”
Tonight I say Kaddish for my dad, Bernd Lewkowitz, who passed on 3 years ago. It is a time where I feel sad, nostalgic and miss my family in the US so much. This is also a time to remember all the wonderful times that we shared together. It reminds me to be grateful for the richness and blessings that my family brings to my life. It also reminds me to grasp every opportunity that I have to connect with my friends, family and community.
The act of saying Kaddish in Judaism gives us all the opportunity to remember our past and express our hope for the future. Learn more in this article below.
