As I watch the news and see the rage of this pandemic, I am reminded of how many people around the world are suffering losses from sickness and death, loss of jobs and closure of businesses. We can’t help but feel helpless under the circumstances. What can we do other than wear masks, social distance and take all precautions possible? One thing that I know we can do is to ask you, the community, how we can help you? What would you like to see moving forward in terms of Jewish services and events? How can this community lend our support to you and your families? Please let us know your thoughts and needs.
Judaism provides an avenue where faith and prayer help anchor us during chaotic times. I found this article very uplifting. https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/holding-chaos-and-the-divine-simultaneously/
We will be continuing our Zoom Friday night services from 6:30 pm tonight, October 23rd.
