Each week I try and read a bit about the Torah reading (Parsha) for the week. This week I was truly inspired while reading the link below about the legacy of Zelophehad’s daughters. I consider myself fortunate to come from a family of strong women. My mom, my daughter, my daughter’s-in law and cousins all display a strength and determination focused on improving the lives of those around them. This parsha describes the wisdom and courage of women who seek to create light by changing their situation.“ It encourages us to think differently— and provides a message of hope for all those faced with obstacles”. Our faith combined with knowledge and understanding determines our future and has the ability to light our world.
